In 2018 we’re asking for Inforgraphic submissions as the basis for the scholarship. In today’s world of TwitterFacebook and Instagram, social media has become a prominent destination for people to acquire new information. According to, 38% of adults obtain their news online, while 28% rely on social media or online applications. It’s not a secret that the modern news reader prefers easy and readily available information, such as infographics. For this reason, we are encouraging students to develop a new skill that can be applied during college or future career.

PONY Baseball Scholarship
PONY Baseball and Softball is proud to announce an Alumni Scholarship for graduates of PONY 14U™ LEAGUECOLT 16U™ LEAGUE and/or PALOMINO 18U™ LEAGUE. In order to be considered for a scholarship a PONY baseball or girl's softball player must play on a PONY affiliated PONY 14U™COLT 16U™ and/or PALOMINO 18U™ team for at least two years prior to application and be a senior in high school. 
Application must be received by certified mail: 5/01/2020 
Award: $2,000


Kids Chance - Children of Injured Workers Scholarship
Kids’ Chance of California is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide need-based educational scholarships to children of California workers who have been fatally or seriously injured on the job.
Deadline: 5/15/2020 
Awards: Range from $1,000 to $10,000

PB&J Scholarship
Open to all college-bound seniors at Eleanor Roosevelt HS attending an accredited 2-year or 4-year college in fall 2020
Application Deadline: May 31, 2020
Award: $500-$1,000

AED Superstore Scholarship

AED Superstore is a nationwide distributor of automated external defibrillators and related accessories dedicated to increasing awareness and education around CPR and AEDs. AED Superstore is located in northern Wisconsin and operates under Allied 100, LLC. AED Superstore is offering a bi-annual scholarship of $1,000 to eligible students.

Fifth Month Scholarship

One is the loneliest number. Three is a crowd. Then there is five. What's so special about five? Well, for starters, this lucky number could help you win a $1,500 scholarship.

It would take more than just one hand to count all the reasons why the number five is important - and we want to know what you think! What is it about the number five that's so significant to you? One great reason is that May is the fifth month - which just so happens to be a great time to apply for fun scholarships.

Help us bring awareness to the fifth month and the number five. We're awarding one $1,500 scholarship to a lucky student - and an endless supply of high fives.

Applicants must:

  • Be thirteen (13) years of age or older at the time of application
  • Be legal residents of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia
  • Be currently enrolled (or enroll no later than the fall of 2026) in an accredited post-secondary institution of higher education

Submit an online written response to the question:
"May is the fifth month of the year. Write a letter to the number five explaining why five is important. Be serious or be funny. Either way, here's a high five to you for being original." (250 words or less)

Courage to Grow Scholarships
(1) 500 dollar scholarship is awarded every month for juniors and seniors with a minimum 2.5 GPA. Deadline date is the last day of every month. Student is required to write an essay in 250 words or less about why he or she should be awarded this scholarship. 
Application Deadline: Last day of every month.
