Ron Brown Scholarship

The Ron Brown Scholarship honors the legacy of Ronald H. Brown through a selective scholarship program that advances higher education for community-minded and intellectually gifted African Americans.  RBSP competitively awards Ron Brown Scholars four-year $40,000 scholarships ($10,000 each year) to the most talented and economically-challenged high school seniors who demonstrate a keen interest in public service, community engagement, business entrepreneurship and global citizenship – the four pillars of the late Ronald H. Brown’s mission to uplift people of all races, cultures and ethnicities – especially our disadvantaged youth.

Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student Scholarship
The 2019 Most Valuable Student scholarship contest is open to any high school senior who is a US Citizen. Applicants will be judged on scholarship, leadership, and financial need.

David Ghozland Scholarship Program
David Ghozland, M.D. is proud to support the next generation of medical professionals by providing a $1,000 scholarship to a student showing excellent promise studying in the sciences or medical field. This scholarship is awarded annually to an undergraduate or graduate student in order to help support their efforts towards earning a degree.

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation College Scholarship
The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation College Scholarship Program is an undergraduate scholarship program available to high-achieving high school seniors with financial need who seek to attend the nation’s best four-year colleges and universities. College Scholars receive up to $40,000 per year, college planning support, ongoing advising, and the opportunity to network with the larger JKCF Scholar community. Up to 40 College Scholars are selected for this program each year.

Education Matters Scholarship
Our Education Matters Scholarship is giving you the chance to state why education matters.  

Applicant must:
Be thirteen (13) years of age or older at the time of application.
Be legal US residents.
Be currently enrolled (or enroll no later than the fall of 2026) in an accredited post-secondary institution of higher education. 
Application Deadline: 11/30/2020
Award: $5,000

Courage to Grow Scholarship
(1) 500 dollar scholarship is awarded every month for juniors and seniors with a minimum 2.5 GPA. Deadline date is the last day of every month. Student is required to write an essay in 250 words or less about why he or she should be awarded this scholarship. 
Application Deadline: Last day of every month.
