The Ron Brown 

The Ron Brown Scholarship honors the legacy of Ronald H. Brown through a selective scholarship program that advances higher education for community-minded and intellectually gifted African Americans.  RBSP competitively awards Ron Brown Scholars four-year $40,000 scholarships ($10,000 each year) to the most talented and economically-challenged high school seniors who demonstrate a keen interest in public service, community engagement, business entrepreneurship and global citizenship – the four pillars of the late Ronald H. Brown’s mission to uplift people of all races, cultures and ethnicities – especially our disadvantaged youth.

Asian Pacific Fund Scholarships

The APIA Scholarship online application will open on September 4, 2018 and close on January 10, 2019 at 5:00 PM EST. Scholarship awards range from one-time $2,500 awards to multi-year $20,000 awards. APIA Scholars provides scholarships to underserved APIA students with a special focus on those who:

  • Live at or below the poverty level, or are otherwise of low socioeconomic status;
  • Are the first in their families to attend college;
  • Are representative of the APIA community's diversity, geographically and ethnically, especially those ethnicities that have been underrepresented on college campuses due to limited access and opportunity; and
  • Have placed strong emphasis on community service and leadership as well as solid academic achievement.

Awards: $1,000-$20,000

Mensa Education and Research Foundation Scholarships

2019-2020 Essay Competition
Applicants do not need to be a member of Mensa nor qualified for Mensa; however, there are separate awards for Mensa member and/or their dependents.  Awards will be made on the basis of an essay of not more than 550 words, which describes the applicant's career, vocational, and/or academic goals for which the scholarship is to provide aid.  Entries will be judged and awarded at three levels: local, regional and national.

Greater Riverside Dollars for Scholars

GREATER RIVERSIDE DOLLARS FOR SCHOLARS IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE this year's scholarship application period will soon open.  $50,000 will be awarded to seniors in the Class of 2019!!  Award recipients will be announced in early April.

Union Plus Scholarship

Since 1992, the Union Plus Scholarship Program has awarded more than $4 million to students of union families. Over 2,700 union families have benefited from our commitment to higher education.

Courage to Grow Scholarship

(1) 500 dollar scholarship is awarded every month for juniors and seniors with a minimum 2.5 GPA. Deadline date is the last day of every month. Student is required to write an essay in 250 words or less about why he or she should be awarded this scholarship.
