
HOW TO CLEAR AN ABSENCE :
To clear an absence, you can contact the Attendance Office within 72 hours of the absence.
Reminder: only parents/legal guardians are permitted to clear absences. Absence requests from anyone else cannot be accepted.
Please have the following information ready when calling:
1. Students' ID #
2. Student Name
3. The date of the absence and reason for being absent
4. Your name and relation to the student.
Providing this information ensures we can locate the correct student record and clear any unexcused absences promptly.
For confirmation of any attendance changes, please refer to your parent portal.

⚕️HOW TO SEND A DOCTOR / DENTAL NOTE:
You can email your student’s medical notes to [email protected] to have their absences excused.
📝WAS YOUR STUDENT MARKED ABSENT IN ERROR? :
If you received a notice that your student was marked absent in a (1) class period, but your student says they were present, they must clear the absence directly with the teacher via email.
If needed, your student can also obtain an Absence Verification Form from the attendance office or the front office.
CHRONIC ABSENTEEISM / TRUANCY LETTERS :
Truant means a student who is absent from school without a district valid excuse for three full days or class periods, equaling three full days, in one school year will automatically receive a site truancy courtesy letter.
