The cut-off time for early student check-outs is 3:15 pm - no exceptions.
Minimum day early release cut-off is 12:00 pm.
**We do not accept phone or email requests for early student release. All check-outs must be done in person with a valid ID**
To check a student out early, only a parent/guardian or individuals listed as emergency contacts may sign them out through the Attendance Office. All individuals must be present and show a valid photo ID or passport for verification, as student safety is our top priority.
Please note: The name on the photo ID or passport must match the name listed on the student’s profile as submitted by the parent/guardian. Nicknames or variations that do not match the legal name on the ID will prevent the student from being released.
To update emergency contacts, please log in to the Parent Connect portal.
STUDENT DRIVER :
Student drivers must follow early release procedures and be formally signed out by a parent/guardian or an emergency contact at the Attendance Office. Failure to check out through the office will result in truancy for the classes missed.
*If you are aware of an upcoming appointment, parents/guardians of student drivers may pre-schedule the sign-out a few days in advance to avoid any inconvenience.
SPORTS RELEASE / SCHOOL FUNCTION :
If your student participates in a Roosevelt sport with an away game, their coach will email all staff with a roster of students permitted to leave campus at the specified time. In this case, your student does NOT need to be signed out early.

If your student is performing in an all-day ERHS event, the lead teacher will email staff with the event details so your student will be excused.
Please allow up to 3 days for the office to update attendance records. If your student’s absence has not been cleared after 3 days, email the advisor or coach to check if your student was included on the list.
