SCHOLARSHIPS DUE IN MARCH:


USC Norman Topping Scholarship 
This is for seniors applying to USC only. A variety of scholarships are available to seniors who demonstrate community awareness and financial need.

CTA César E. Chávez Memorial Education Awards Program
This awards program provides recognition for educators and their students who demonstrate an understanding of the vision and guiding principles by which César Chávez lived his life.

Cabrillo Civic Club of California Scholarship 
This Scholarship is for students of Portuguese Descent.   We award $500.00 scholarships each year to deserving students of Portuguese Descent throughout the State of California.

Each year, The Altura Credit Union Foundation awards monetary scholarships to Riverside County High School seniors pursing a college education.

Superpower Scholarship
Have you ever wondered where you'd go if you could fly around downtown? Or maybe you daydream of secretly taking over the world - to each his own. For all of those hero lovers and villain enthusiasts, this super scholarship can give you the power to win free college money.

Use your imagination and become the superhero, or perhaps supervillain, you've always wanted to be. Would you live a life in a comic book universe or use your powers here in the real world? We want to know how you would use your super powers for good, or bad, even if it was just for the day.

While we can't give you the ability to walk through walls or read minds, our Superpower Scholarship can help increase your brainpower with $2,500 to use towards education.

Applicants must:

  • Be thirteen (13) years of age or older at the time of application
  • Be legal residents of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia
  • Be currently enrolled (or enroll no later than the fall of 2026) in an accredited post-secondary institution of higher education

 

Submit an online written response to the question:
"Which superhero or villain would you want to change places with for a day and why?" (250 words or less)
Application Deadline: 3/31/2020
Award: $2,500



Courage to Grow Scholarship
(1) 500 dollar scholarship is awarded every month for juniors and seniors with a minimum 2.5 GPA. Deadline date is the last day of every month. Student is required to write an essay in 250 words or less about why he or she should be awarded this scholarship.
