UNITY Leads ERHS in Respect & Diversity
UNITY is Leading
Posted on 05/05/2020
The UNITY program was developed in 2007 to reduce the expulsion and suspension rates, as well as racial tension on high school campuses. In response to a community outcry to change school climate, ERHS embraced UNITY. Since then, UNITY has evolved as a leadership course to promote and educate students on race relations, diversity, acceptance, and building a positive school climate.
UNITY is an A-G approved year-long elective course for 10th-12th graders. Students are required to interview the year prior to being admitted.
UNITY holds 6-8 student-lead forums per school year.
If you are interested in adding the UNITY course to your schedule, please contact your counselor.
